The Texas transmission line approved a $1.92 billion

Public utilities commission in Texas, USA 3 has unanimously approved the Texas power company and shire rand utilities application, the construction of a 345 kv transmission line, a substation in northwest from Edinburgh to Brownsville, city in the eastern part of a substation. Power transmission project is about 96 miles, for about $309 million (RMB 1.92 billion), is expected to be completed in the summer of 2016.

The western half of the transmission line line will be built by Texas power company operations, the eastern half of the line by sheer rand utilities construction operations.

In January 2012, the Texas electric reliability council expressed support for the project. Since then, Texas power company and shire rand utilities began with an experienced the path of the consulting firm, to environmental assessments and path analysis.
